    Turkey has borders with many countries and also long Mediterranean, Aegean and Black Sea coast-lines hosting many popular tourist resorts

 

  Among the best known contributions to European life are Coffee, Turkish Delight, Turkish Baths (hamam) and the Kebab.

 

    In 2003 inflation hit a 30 year low of  9,3%, the average wage is about 5,000 Lira which is roughly  ₤2,000 or  3,000€, and a third of Turks work in agriculture.
