These tend to be more of a problem at larger hotels, where they cater for the masses and are not concerned about people as individuals, for instance; |

You arrive at your hotel to
find you have been given the worst room, with little space no view and
hardly any light. The bar prices can be expensive and the food not so appealing or perhaps a limited menu. Or go down to the pool on the first day and find a large group on holiday who are perhaps a bit rowdy. |

The hotel is perhaps not quite as it was portrayed in the brochure, it's perhaps situated miles from anywhere and most of the facilities they advertise are not available (or under construction) Finding yourself in a hotel in which the majority of guests are from another country and the staff all speak that language and don't speak your language. |
